20 +20 for twenties (Educational Project)

As part of the celebration of the 20 years of the Museum of Greek Children’s Art, the Ianos Art Gallery under the artistic direction of Mikri Arktos presented the exhibition “20 + 20 for 20”, a dialogue between two-dimensional and three-dimensional children’s works from its collections Museum of Greek Children’s Art and works of contemporary Greek artists. The exhibition was hosted at the Ianos Art Gallery while at the same time it was presented at the Benaki Museum, transferred to the Cultural Association of Megaron “Theognis” and then to the Municipal Art Gallery of Larisa Katsidra.

Now it continues its course at the Tomato Industrial Museum “D. Nomikos”.
It is an exhibition that met with great success and a warm response from the public.

The Tomato Industrial Museum, celebrating World Museum Day on May 18, hosts the specially designed educational program of the “20 + 20” exhibition for 20, offering children the opportunity to watch it for free and get to know the treasures of the Museum of Greek Children’s Art, closely.
The exhibition is curated by art historian and exhibition curator Iris Kritikou, who is also the Vice President of the Museum of Greek Children’s Art.
