Photography under the microscope….just like Sherlock Holmes, we investigate the life and work of the great photographers…but, at the same time, we observe the secrets of studio photography, which is going to be set up for just this purpose.
The purpose of these educational meetings is to get to know the wonderful world of photography.
PORTRAIT, photographers’s favourite subject
In the first part the portrait photographs of the great photographers are presented through slides and video links. Photographers include August Sanders, Henry Cartier-Bresson, Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand, Gregory Grewdson. A discussion on their life and work will follow.
In the second part we get a first impression of studio photography, as we watch but also take part in a photo session using studio lights. This session will be set up especially for us in the workshop rooms.
At the end of the sessions the best photos taken will be exhibited at SAF.
The workshop is for children 10-110 years old.
