Learn the art of macramé

The Tomato Industrial Museum invites you to a three-hour macramé seminar.

Macramé is a textile art form of tying knots rather than knitting using needles. It consists of a series of knots that are applied in a way that creates decorative objects, jewelry, etc

It was discovered by Arab weavers in the 13th century and was the way they decorated towels, veils, throws, etc.

Today the art of macramé is widespread worldwide and is used to decorate fabrics, make bags and jewelry

In the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to learn the basic weaving of macramé and create a bracelet by alternating one or more colors in a specific pattern, as well as learn clasp placement techniques.
