The museum is closing its doors for 2024

**Press Release**

Santorini, 08/11/2024

The “D. Nomikos” Tomato Industrial Museum announces the closure of the 2024 season on Saturday, November 9th, marking the end of another successful year full of educational activities, events, and visits from the public.

Throughout the season, the museum welcomed thousands of visitors, who had the opportunity to explore the rich history of the tomato in Santorini, participate in interactive workshops, and discover the traditional methods of growing and processing tomatoes.

This year was especially significant, as the museum organized a variety of events, including educational programs for schools, thematic exhibitions, and workshops aimed at promoting biodiversity and the intangible cultural heritage of the island.

During the winter months, the museum will prepare for the upcoming season by renewing its activities. In this period, we will continue to work on developing new programs and events to enhance the experience of our visitors.

We would like to thank all of our visitors, collaborators, and supporters for their trust and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you again next year with new and exciting offerings!
